Starting Fresh

I decided to start this new year of on a clean slate. I know its very cliche and we hear it all the time on social media which can be exhausting. I'm a culprit for setting myself new year goals and then not following them through to the point that I told myself that I could. 

This year I want to put a focus on my creative platforms. I have abandoned them like a lost puppy and I want to relaunch them with I guess you could say the "new me" or the "updated me" which seems more appropriate. 

The platforms I'm only ever consistent on are Instagram and to my own disbelief Tik Tok. I miss YouTube so much and I do miss writing my blog posts too. For a long time I have felt out of place on them as times have changed. Content isn't the same as what it was when I first joined. I miss that content though so I'm sticking to my guns and going for that because that's what I like to watch and read so that is what I like to create. 

2014 content was lighthearted and fun and I think that's what is missing from YouTube these days. There are only a handful of people I watch nowadays that still make that type of content because it's comforting to me. It's not competing for who is the best at makeup or who has the most sponsors or 'drama' related channels which is what the platform and instagram for that matter has turned into. 

My content will be a bit different from previous uploads. I've changed a lot and my interests and priorities in life have as well. Things like Disney Haul videos won't be a thing that I make anymore which I know might disappoint some people as this is and was videos I always get asked to make but I don't buy as much stuff anymore, more so because my priorities are now focused on buying a house and a wedding now! That's not to say I won't do any Disney type videos or blog posts but it won't be anything like what it used to be. Same goes for Taylor related videos, I don't mind doing some but it won't be a consistent thing on my channel. On the subject of houses and weddings I'm excited to do vlogs and hauls for them, typing this and realising I am definitely an adult now! 

Moving forward on a more positive path, I want to go full swing into the content that I make and just enjoy what I'm passionate about. Below is the official schedule for my uploads if you want to keep in the know of when I will be uploading every week!

Thank you so much for your never ending support, it really made me so happy to see lots of sweet messages saying how happy they are to have me back on the platforms again.
