Rare Beauty Haul

Rare Beauty has finally been released in the UK and I was one of the first few to jump straight onto SpaceNK to make my purchase!

It's been almost a month now since the release and it has given me some time to reflect on the products and give them a proper test.

So I didn't order the full collection mainly because I wasn't sure if I was going to like it and didn't want to waste money. I went for the Foundation, Liquid Blush, Liquid eyeliner and lip souffle. You also got a free mini of the illuminating primer when you spent over a certain amount.

Starting with the primer, I really liked this usually I don't go for the illuminating ones as they don't suit my skin too much but this one looked really nice it wasn't too heavy and let the product sit nicely on top.

The foundation is something I've bee trying for a while now and I have some thoughts. It does dry matt which is fine but how it applies is something I'm struggling with. It sits nice on top of the primer but if you apply this on top of a moisturiser then it starts to come off in bits which is quite annoying.

I have applied it with a sponge and a brush and I do find the brush applies better and doesn't move as much as it does with a sponge. It does look really nice when its all blended on the skin but the wear during the day I'm not sure. Could be me using the wrong products with it but there are things I'm not 100% on.

Through out the day I've noticed it gets a bit cakey and rubs off very easily and I have tried it with different setting powders, Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Powder is the best one that has worked with it.

Next is the Liquid Blush in Joy I love this blush it is so beautiful in colour and appliance. A small amount goes a long way though with this stuff. It lasts beautifully through out the day, and mixed with some liquid highlighter its stunning! 10/10 for me!

Next we have the Perfect Strokes matte liquid liner in black  I love this liner it is so good! I love that it has hairs on the tip this makes it apply very smoothly and very bold. It's not hay fever proof for those that suffer like me, I did get a lot of bleeding from the it when I had my eyes watering. But that isn't the same for everyone! I do really love this liner though it's so easy to apply and I think it would be a great addition for someone who loves to do art with their liquid liner.

Lastly is the lip souffle in the shade Inspire. I love a good red lip and this one is no different. This is a lip creme that glides on perfectly but what I like about it is that when it does come off and it does granted it's a creme product it actually leaves a  nice stain on the lips that lasts all day! Will probably buy more of these in the future I have my eye on the Fearless shade!

Overall I would recommend Rare beauty it's got some great products in the line and more has been added too!

Thank you for reading!
